Why Is It Called Chicken Parmesan with NO Parmesan Cheese?

Chicken Parmesan originated from the Italian dish Parmigiana which refers to how it’s prepared rather than this specific ingredient. The preparation method is breading the chicken then frying it. The confusion comes from this being commonly made with Mozzarella Cheese instead of Parmesan Cheese. Mozzarella melts faster and can form a nice golden crust, it becomes gooey and stretchy. This pairs nicely with the tomato sauce without overpowering the dish.

  • 1 Pack Chicken Tenderloin
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Grated
  • 1 Tbsp Sweet Cooking Rice Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Seasoning Sauce or Soy Sauce
  • 3 Green Onions For Garnish
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 Cup Cornstarch
  • 3/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Salt
  • Oil
  • Sesame Seeds For Garnish

Instructions

  • Make the sauce first: In a bowl combine the sesame oil, grated garlic cloves, sweet cooking rice seasoning, honey, chili garlic sauce, ketchup, oyster sauce, brown sugar, seasoning sauce OR soy sauce. (Don't use seasoning sauce AND soy sauce, pick one or the other)
  • After you're done mixing the sauce set it aside.
  • Chop up the green onions then set aside.
  • Chop up the chicken tenderloin into bite size pieces then set aside.
  • In a bowl whisk two eggs until combined.
  • In a separate bowl/plate place the cornstarch.
  • In a separate bowl/plate place the flour and combine with garlic salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Coat the chicken in the eggs, then the cornstarch, then the flour. Always shake off the excess.
  • Once all the chicken is coated get a pan and put enough oil to cover the bottom and be generous with it.
  • Set heat to medium
  • Once pan is hot put chicken in the pan and let sit on one side for 2 minutes. Flip every 2 minutes for a total of 7 minutes. Do not overcrowd the pan, fry in batches if needed.
  • After all the chicken is fried set aside.
  • Lower the heat to low and take out the excess oil in the pan.
  • Once pan is cleaned out put the sauce in the pan and let it simmer
  • Once sauce is simmering combine the chicken and make sure all the pieces are coated then turn off the heat.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Strawberries
  • Almond Bark/Melting Chocolate
  • 1 Pack Skewers
  • 1 Pasta Strainer

Instructions

  • Rinse off all of the strawberries.
  • Pat all of the strawberries until they're dry then let the strawberries sit for an hour to get to room temperature.
  • Pull off the green stem leaves.
  • Cut a V Shape into the tops of the strawberries, removing the stem in the process.
  • Get your chocolate of choice and melt in a bowl/cup for 1 minute.
  • Take a skewer and insert into the bottom of the strawberry then dip half way into the melted chocolate.
  • Take the skewer and put in strainer to let the strawberry dry evenly.

    For best results put the strawberries in the fridge once dry after dipping.

Instructions

  • For the base combine the greek yogurt, milk, and 2 tsp. of honey, in a bowl or zip-lock bag.
  • Pour the base into a cake pop pan, muffin pan, or popsicle mold (use anything).
  • Put fruit into each mold then put the granola on top of the fruit.
  • Lightly drizzle honey on the granola so this can stick together once it freezes.
  • Put a toothpick in the middle of each yogurt pop then put in the freezer for 3 hours.

Instructions

  • Follow directions to cook Linguine Pasta.
  • In a pan over medium high heat melt butter and olive oil.
  • When melted add garlic cloves and cook until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp and lobster and season with paprika, half of the basil basil, Italian seasoning and garlic salt. Cook until pink.
  • Remove shrimp and lobster with ALL of the garlic butter sauce and set aside in a bowl.
  • In the same pan add in the white onion and cook until brown. Add more butter if needed with a dash of water.
  • Pour in milk, heavy cream & bring to a simmer. Season with black pepper, salt, garlic salt, and tomato puree.
  • Add shrimp and lobster with ALL the garlic butter sauce back into the pan.
  • Add the handful of parsley, the other half of the basil, and a small amount of parmsean cheese. Not too much cheese otherwise the sauce will thicken.
  • Serve over pasta and enjoy!

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tsp. Grated Ginger
  • 2 Green Onions
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil Vegetable or Olive

Instructions

  • Soak skewers in water until you're ready to grill.
  • Cut chicken thighs into 3 pieces and trim off excess fat.
  • In a bowl combine chicken thighs, soy sauce, sweet cooking rice seasoning, mirin, brown sugar, ginger, green onions, and oil.
  • Marinate in the fridge for half an hour.
  • Heat up grill to 475-500 degrees.
  • Take the skewers and pierce 4-5 chicken thighs on each stick.
  • Save the excess sauce.
  • Grill the chicken thighs for 12-14 minutes while turning them every few minutes.
  • While the chicken thighs are grilling, take the excess sauce and boil in a pot to kill the bacteria.
  • Once the chicken thighs are done take the excess sauce that was boiled and use a spoon or brush to glaze the sauce over the thighs.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 355º F.
  • In a bowl combine the brown sugar, chili powder, parsley flakes, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin.
  • Cut a pocket into the chicken breast.
  • Add the chicken breast into the bowl with the seasoning.
  • Remove the seasoned chicken breast from the bowl and put onto a plate.
  • Stuff the pocket of the chicken breast with mozzarella cheese.
  • Seal the edges of the pocket the best you can.
  • Separate the flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs onto 3 different plates.
  • Coat the chicken in flour, next coat chicken in the eggs, then coat chicken in the bread crumb.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.
  • Fry the chicken until it's golden brown on both sides.
  • Place some tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish then put the chicken breast on top.
  • Cover top of chicken breast with tomato sauce then sprinkle parmesan cheese and basil on top.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes.

  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Inch. Ginger`Root Grated

  • 1/2 Bag Shrimp Peeled

Instructions

  • In a pot add 1 tbsp peanut oil over medium heat.
  • Add in broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes or until some parts are brown. Optionally add in more oil if it looks too dry, then remove broccoli from pan.
  • Add in 1 tbsp of peanut oil over medium heat in the same pan then add in the beef. Cook until brown then remove from pan.
  • Add 1 tbsp peanut oil, green onions, garlic cloves, and ginger. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add beef back into the pan, soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, beef broth, and brown sugar. Lower temp to medium low (4 on stove) and cover for 15 minutes. *Optional* add in shrimp and diced bell peppers when there's about 8-6 minutes left.
  • Serve beef and broccoli over rice.

  • 1/2 Polska Kielbasa Sausage I Used Turkey

Instructions

  • In a small pot add the rice and water over high heat. Wait for it to boil, as soon as it starts boiling lower the heat to low and set a timer for 22 minutes.
  • While the rice is cooking slice the Polska Kielbasa Sausage.
  • In a pan with butter (enough to cover the bottom) start cooking the sausage when there is about 10 minutes left on the rice as the sausage is already cooked, we're just heating this up on the stove over medium heat.
  • Once sausage is in the pan lightly sprinkle the onion powder, cumin, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning. Cook the sausage until there are some nice burn marks on the edges.
  • At this point you can cook over easy eggs or scrambled eggs for added protein. (I don't do this if I'm lazy lol)
  • Once rice is done serve with the sausage and eggs.

  • In a bowl season the chicken thighs with 1 tsp of chili powder, turmeric, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Cut up potatoes into small chunks.
  • In a pot melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat then add in the chicken thighs. Cook until chicken is white on the inside or almost white (doesn't need to be fully cooked) then remove from pot.
  • Melt the last 2 tbsp of butter in the pot. Add onion, ginger, garlic cloves, garam masala, 1 tsp of chili powder, cumin, cayenne, salt, pepper, cinnamon, curry powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add in the tomato sauce and let it simmer.
  • Then add in the water and heavy cream and return to a simmer.
  • Try the broth and add in a pinch of sugar if too spicy. Season with salt, pepper, and cilantro
  • Add in the potatoes and cover over medium low heat for 15 minutes
  • Add in the chicken and cover over medium low heat for 15 minutes.
  • Serve chicken over rice and garnish with cilantro.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF
  • In a bowl add diced chicken breast, brown sugar, chili powder, 1 tsp. parsely flakes, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin.
  • Heat oil over high heat in pan. Add in the diced chicken and cook until chicken is almost done.
  • Add in barbecue sauce and cook for about 5 minutes then remove from heat.
  • In a large baking pan spread out tortilla chips to cover the bottom of the pan. Layer with half the bbq chicken, half the shredded cheese, onion, tomato, cooked bacon, and parsley flakes. Then repeat once more.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Serve with sour cream or guac.
